Testimonials

"I play competitive tennis regularly for a local team.  My right knee has been causing me problems for several years, often becoming inflamed and painful especially after long tennis matches.  I greatly enjoy my tennis and would be very reluctant to cut down on playing.  After relying heavily on anti-inflammatories to combat the pain I tried acupuncture as a last resort.  After only two or three treatments with Amanda my knee pain disappeared completely and I was able to carry on playing tennis at my former level with only sporadic pain, which has been relieved by the occasional ‘top-up’ acupuncture treatment.  I have no hesitation in recommending Amanda as a friendly, reliable and competent practitioner". "I am a regular runner. I had acupuncture treatment from Amanda for  a chronic lower back pain that had been worsening for months, and had become occasionally agonizingly painful, and mostly constantly aching, made worse by my running.  Yoga and massage gave temporary relief but the pain always returned. Five weekly treatments from Amanda got rid of the pain completely, and eight months later it shows no sign of returning, despite running regularly.  The treatment sessions left me feeling extremely relaxed, and Amanda has a calm and reassuring professional manner. I have recommended Amanda to friends". C.D.*

"I had a severe chest infection recently, and experienced difficulty breathing (wheezing etc.). After a visit to my GP, I tried using an inhaler, monitoring my peak flow over a period of a month. The inhaler seemed to have little effect. The breathing difficulty was starting to impact on my day to day life. At this point, I decided to try acupuncture. I noticed an immediate improvement in my peak flow after each treatment, and after four treatments, my breathing returned to normal. I would not hesitate to have further treatments should the need arise. I found Amanda to be both friendly and professional in her manner and practice, and would recommend her unreservedly". J. from Manchester*
